Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengukuran Psikoogi (JPPP) is an open access journal in psychology published by The Faculty of Psychology Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). JPPP is a bi-annual peer reviewed journal that publishes original and meaningful contributions to the field of psychology in Indonesia. The journal aims for experimental, theoretical, measurement development and theoretical review articles in all areas of psychology. In particular, we expected to received article with advances statistical analysis in measurement, psychometric, and modelling study in psychology.

Abstract

Abstract The study was conducted 49 co-ass students who are doing clinical practice (N=49), investigate the effect of role conflict with the occurrence of burnout. Using a purposive technique sampling, these studies make use of two instruments as a measure of role conflict and burnout measurement tools that has been modified from the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) with Likert models. The result is that there is significant influence between role conflict and the occurrence of burnout in co-ass students. The amount of influence (R Square) to the occurrence of role conflict and burnout is 0.389 (38.9%) which means that the conflict affects the role of burnout by 38.9% and the remaining 61.1% influenced by other factors outside of role conflict. This indecated any significant positive effect of role conflict and the occurrence of burnout. Keywords: co-ass, role conflict, burnout

Abstract

Abstract The research was aimed to determine influence of perception of leadership styles toward job satisfaction among the employee in Blitzmegaplex Teras Kota. Dimensions of leadership styles in this research are participative, caregiver, authoritarian, bureaucratic, and task-oriented leadership styles. Dimensions of job satisfaction are hygiene factors and motivators. Methods of data collection in this research used leadership styles and job satisfaction scales. Sampling technique was purposive sampling to obtained a sample of 30 people. Analysis of the data used is regression analysis. The result of this research explain that there is a significant influence of perception of leadership styles toward job satisfaction among the employee in Blitzmegaplex Teras Kota, with a correlation coefficient (rxy) is 0,523 and R Square (R2) is 0,273. The magnitude show that the variable of job satisfaction accounted for by variable leadership styles as much as 27%. This means that as much as 27% of the leadership style variables influence to job satisfaction, and vice versa. This can be used as guidelines for companies to improve the style of leadership in order to increase employee job satisfaction, and maintain company productivity. From this result, it is suggested that other variables which have not been revealed such as the fulfillment of expectations of salary, interpersonal relations, work environment and physical condition, can be further studies. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to gain insight about the dynamics of self-Injury actors. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with case study method. Subjects in this study is that two actors Injury non suicidal self-injury self-moderate. Data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data analysis using qualitative data analysis techniques and examination techniques data using triangulation. Triangulation is used in this study is the triangulation of methods and sources. This study shows that the psychological dynamics of self-Injury actors in subject 1 came from the family, parenting adopted in the family persuasive. The role of each member of the family is not running as it should. Circumstances are not good parents is what makes the subject to self-injury. Lack of attention and affection from parents makes the subject perform actions that are not controlled by it as self-injury. Subject 2 showed that the role of the family is quite influential for him. Parenting is applied by the subject's father was so protective that makes the subject very often want to feel free. This event makes the subject feel guilty and depressed. Taste is exactly what makes the subject matter that is not doing well coping with self-injury. Keywords: Self-Injury, Psychological Dynamics.

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this research was to provide about resilience in children with cancer. Resilience obtained through identification of three resilience factors. That is I Am for the individual strength in personal, I Have for external support and the sources, and I Can for interpersonal skills, and output from interaction of the three factors consist of trust, autonomy, initiative, industry, and identity. Research that has been used was qualitative approach. Overview of resilience of the subject obtained from the interview with children with cancer, relatives (mother and uncle), instructor, and doctor who deal with children with cancer. The results of this research were both subjects can develop resilience characteristic well. However, there are some differences from the two subjects. 1st subject achieve resilience attitude more depth on interaction I Have and I Can factors clearly. Yet, still supported by I Am factor. Whereas 2nd subject achieve resilience attitude more on I Am and I Can factors. Yet, I Have factor still fulfilled. Moreover, 1st subject was able to established initiative and industry better than 2nd subject. Key Words : Resilience, Children, Cancer, Development, Psychology

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to find the influence of hypnobirthing method to decrease level’s of anxiety of early adult women’s confinement. The research was held in Ningsih Midwife’s from March until June 2012. This research used experimental research method which is kind of quasi experiment with one-group pre-posttest design. Analysis obtainded using the Wilcoxon test z = -3.061 , p = 0.002 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that there are significant differences in before and after hypnobirthing. From these results it was found that there are significant difference between groups of measurements before. Based on the results of this analysis, the hypothesis of this study is acceptable. This research’s hypothesis is hypnobirthing method effective to reduce anxiety in the first child labour in early adult mother. The implication of this research is hypnobirthing method can decrease the pregnant women’s level of anxiety towards confinement and easy to be executed. Abstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to determine the effects of emotional intelligence on marital adjustment in early adulthood. The study was conducted in South Jakarta. The population of this study is the early adulthood resident of district Pela Mampang, South Jakarta . Total population is about 500 people and the researchers took 46 people as the sample in this study because they meet the study requirement. This study used a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is ex post facto. And the sampling technique is probability sampling.The type of probability sampling that is used in this study is purposive sampling, whereas the sampling technique depends on the criteria. Data collection technique used emotional intelligence and marital adjustment scale. The analytical techniques used in this study is normality test, linear test, and regression analysis. Based on the study result, F = 275 912, p = 0.00 <0.05 (significant), suggested that there is a significant influence between emotional intelligence on marital adjustment in early adulthood. The regression equation was Y = 25 276 +0249 X. This regression suggested that if emotional intelligence is 0, then the adjustment is positive 25,769. Regression coefficient of emotional intelligence variable is 0.249 which means if emotional intelligence scores is increased, then the marital adjustment will increase 0.249. We obtained a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and marital adjustment because the coefficient is positive. This means that, higher emotional intelligence will result on higher marital adjustment. The influence of emotional intelligence variables on marital adjustment in early adulthood that is obtained by Adjusted R Square is 0859 which means emotional intelligence affect marital adjustment in early adulthood couples by 85.9%, while the remaining percentage showed that there are other factors that influence marital adjustment on early adulthood beside emotional intelligence. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to give a representation about teenage girls cigarette smoking factor in Jakarta. Sample for this research are 61 teenage girls with different characteristics age range 1518 years, smoking and live in Jakarta. Data collection technique is non probability sampling technique with accidental sampling. The research design used by the writer is descriptive statistical analysis. According to the results obtained from the respondents, of the three dimentions that can lead teenage girls smoking is peer influence, family influence, and self image of smokers showed that the three dimentions there are no dimention are very striking as a cause of teenage girls smoking, but from the third dimentions of peer influence reached the highest score compared with the other two dimentions with the percentage of 35%. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to provide an overview of resilience in teenagers girl who experience unwanted pregnancy due to sexual abuse. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with a qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques and techniques of data validity checks using triangulation.These results indicate that both the resilience so that the subject has the ability to positively adapt to the event of unwanted pregnancy due to sexual abuse. Subject I adapt to calm down and think over the matter while subject II adapting to talk to someone nearby. Both subjects also have a seventh aspect of building resilience with the capability of different quality. The subject I is better to regulate and control the negative impulse that is felt while subject II more visible sense of optimism and efficacy of the problem itself. The results also showed that support from the nearest such as family, friends, is one of the most influential factor on the development of resilience both subjects. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to know whether there is comparative of brand loyalty degree based on theory Big Five Factors of Personality on smart-phone user. The level of brand loyalty formed based on brand loyalty pyramid by David A. Aaker (1991) that having a certain characteristics on each level of brand loyalty. Research conducted by involving 142 smartphone user that settle in Jakarta. An instrument consisting of two research scale, the level of brand loyalty scale and personality scale that adopted from personality scale of International Personality Item Pool (IPIP) which based on NEO-PI R. Hypotheses tested by chi square analyze with the assistance program SPSS ver 17.0 for Windows. Based on the analysis result of data that has been done obtained chi square of personality variable is 58,070, degree of freedom is 4 with p-value 0.00 < 0.05, chi square of brand loyalty level variable is 15,958, degree of freedom is 4 with pvalue 0.03 < 0.05. This means that the null hypothesis is rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted, then there is a significant comparison of levels of brand loyalty based on the theory the Big Five Factors of Personality on the smart-phone user. Abstract

Abstrack The purpose of this research is to provide a depiction of the resilience of women who had experienced spontaneous abortion. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The authors use questionnaires based on the dimensions of resilience resilience by Reivich & Shatte (2002). Characteristics of the survey respondents were women who had experienced a spontaneous abortion, aged 18-40 years, and had never married. Respondents totaling 44 people were taken by purposive sampling technique. Results showed resilience try out the scale reliability scores are interpreted 0.813 resilience questionnaire is reliable. The test data is done with SPSS version 16.00. The results of this research, indicate that the level of resilience of women who had experienced a spontaneous abortion was 27 respondents are in a high level of resilience, 17 respondents were in medium level of resilience.
